Are you an aspiring greeting card writer?

Holley Gerth was recently a guest on Kitchen Chat. Listen to the podcast here: Kitchen Chat 01-22-2010

It was a wonderful visit. Holley has a beautiful spirit and it shows through her words and work.

For those of you who don't know Holley, she's a senior card writer and strategist for Dayspring as well as blogger at Heart to Heart and at (in)courage.me. She has found joy in her role of building up others with her words. Colossians 2:2 "My purpose is that they may be encourages in heart and united in love." She writes from the heart as she connects with people (through her words) by walking through their joy and pain.

DaySpring touches millions of people worldwide each year with encouraging messages. Would you like to be a part of that? Are you an aspiring greeting card writer? Holley has kindly offered to accept any greeting card submissions from the readers of Pearl Girls as well as authors. She will review and promote the top submissions to DaySpring. If you are interested, please follow the writing guidelines and editorial instruction at http://www.dayspring.com/corporate/contact/editorial.asp. You can submit them directly to Holley at holleyg |at| dayspring |dot| com. Holley would love to respond to each of you, but because of the volume of submissions, will only be contacting those who Dayspring would like to purchase from.

You can see some of Holley's card designs {CLICK HERE} and {CLICK HERE}.

Holley Gerth is an award-winning writer and editorial director for DaySpring. Her devotional book, Rain on Me: Devotions of Hope and Encouragement for Difficult Times(Summerside Press) is now available online and in bookstores. Holley is also a counseling intern for the women’s ministry and care center of a mega church with close to 10,000 members. She has been married to her college sweetheart, Mark, for almost nine years. Holley is not a morning person and once put chocolate on her alarm clock to bribe herself but ate it and went back to bed. You’re invited to find encouragement any time of day on her blog,Heart to Heart with Holley.

Special Offer for Pearl Girls readers: Get an extra 20% off with coupon code holley20 when you purchase Holley's book from the (in)courage shop on DaySpring.com.

Hi! I listened to that interview and was so impressed with Holley, and her beautiful heart. I loved getting to know her a little. For years I've wanted to be published, and thought about greeting cards, made a few attempts, but not with Dayspring, since they only accept published authors' submissions, so this is an incredible offer to anyone thinking about getting into this area of writing. Thank you so much for the opportunity!
Blessings,
Wendy @ Faith's Firm Foundation
